Description:
Ok this is probably a fault of mine and not a bug, however this is more a general
inquiry for information. Also this particular error was previously reported as a bug
here:
http://jira.codehaus.org/secure/ViewIssue.jspa?key=MAVEN-567
There was another reference to it where Brett Porter was looking into it. Can't seem
to find that reference for the time being.
Here's my problem. I'm trying to build an Avalon component to wrap Maven. I'm using
Merlin for the container. The problem is that I get this same error within my
"Mavalon" component. At times I have gotten other similar errors on different jelly
tags in various pluggins whose tags are associated with a specific library. For the
life of me I cannot figure out how to debug this problem. The classes seem to be on
the classpath and all should work - I infact made sure the forehead structure works as
it would while running maven from the command line.
Anyway I know this is not a very easy problem without examples of what I am doing. To
simplify the situation I have written an extremely simple hard coded Avalon component
that just executes the java:compile goal using a MavenSession which it initializes.
When the component is run with merlin it generates these same problems.
I have tar'ed the project up and made it available here:
