'Final' is a bit of misnomer to me. There will be no 'final' release of 
Maven. It's an ongoing work.

This is a known bug, that we've lived with for a long time. But not one I 
see getting fixed for 1.0 @ this point. Bugs like this need to be fixed, 
but I don't see why we need to be 'bug free' for a 1.0 release.
