This diff fixes the problem by setting the NOPAUSE environment variable to true. I've
also added a call to setlocal (if NT-based) to ensure that spurious variables are not
left set after running (ie. JAVA_OPTS and NOPAUSE). Note that I did not update the
shutdown for 3.0 as I don't know if the same fix applies or not...

When you do a jboss:shutdown or jboss:start it hangs waiting for the user to press any
key, however it does not receive the key press while under maven.
