i have tested with Maven 2.2.1 which unfortunately produces a
failure...in MCHECKSTYLE-295 integration test...Created MCHECKSTYLE-303
to report it...
and furthermore tested with the following Maven versions without any issue:
Maven 3.0.5, 3.1.1, 3.2.5, 3.3.3
Based on the above error i would say +0

During the release I discovered

which was highlighted by an IT that was added for an issue that was
fixed in this release. MCHECKSTYLE-302 is in itself though not due to
any change in this release, so I have opted not to fix it now. This
however does make the IT for MCHECHSTYLE-295 fail if you try to build
with Maven 2.2.1.

Note that the staging site does not currently contain any reports, due
to a circular dependency on the Checkstyle Plugin itself. This in
combination with the fact that the configuration needs to be changed,
but cannot be changed until after the release has been made. I will
however publish a full site including the reports once the release is
successful.
