ok, so you're talking about the MPIR scm report: I'm completely +1 on this
the MPIR scm report does not display scm url verbatim: it interprets it to
display human-readable useful info
this doesn't tall anything about effective scm model value: what I tell is that
the model value can -- or even should -- contain the path in repository info:
the scm report will display this info as you suggested
