So doing some research...
The DefaultProjectBuilder contains a method:
private ModelData readParent( Model childModel, ModelSource childSource,
ModelBuildingRequest request,
DefaultModelProblemCollector problems )
which is called for each module...
The information for the parent is cached ...So this looks to me it is
fixed...but it is done before and is not related to MNG-6030...
