GitHub user ctrueden opened a pull request:

    https://github.com/apache/maven-site/pull/6

    Enumerate inherited POM elements more thoroughly

    The documentation gave the impression that only a small subset of elements
are inherited, but the truth is that most of them are. It is useful here also
to list elements which are _not_ inherited, so that developers are fully
informed of what to expect regarding inheritance.

You can merge this pull request into a Git repository by running:

    $ git pull https://github.com/ctrueden/maven-site inherited-elements

Alternatively you can review and apply these changes as the patch at:

To close this pull request, make a commit to your master/trunk branch
with (at least) the following in the commit message:

    This closes #6
