Do you have a wildcard mirror in the settings as well? Overriding 'central' is not enough when the projects to build contain repositories (maybe central with a different id or something pointing somewhere else). What I mean is: Overriding 'central' makes no sense most of the time. This functionality should contine to work, of course.
