+1 from m2e.
We tried using 3.8.2 internally and found it broke some tests (so we did
stick to 3.8.1), while our first attempt with 3.8.3 was successful so it's
good for m2e adoption (details at
https://github.com/eclipse-m2e/m2e-core/pull/326 ).
