Here is an overview of the issue:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: MPWAR-28
Summary: <copy>.... <fileset ...includes and excludes .../>
Type: Bug
Status: Closed
Resolution: WON'T FIX
Original Estimate: Unknown
Time Spent: Unknown
Remaining: Unknown
Project: maven-war-plugin
Assignee: Carlos Sanchez
Reporter: W. Shaib

Description:
I am not sure if this is a bug or something I am missing. The <ant:copy> task used in
the war plugin jelly file uses the <fileset> with includes and excludes attributes
which don't seem to have any effect. Replacing them with include and exclude does the
trick.
The fileset documentation at http://ant.apache.org/manual/CoreTypes/fileset.html
documents the attributes as "includes" and "excludes" but the examples listed on that
same page use "include" and "exclude".
