Environment: maven 1.0 on windows xp. primarilary a cygwin user though
my java is sun 1.4.2
Description:
this must be something very simple, but I'm seeing <ant:echo> and <echo> tags
generating errors from the maven 1.0 plugins.
i did a clean install of maven 1.0, including removing my plugin cache
i ran maven generate to create my project.xml file, taking all the defaults
i tried maven jar and got the error enclosed below. saw the same problem with or
jar:jar or site:generate
