> Subject: Can we move JBOSS plugin to maven-plugins.sf.net?
>
> Folks,
>
> There's been some patches/bug reports made to the Maven JBoss plugin.
>
> There has been no action on some of these since May. See

I don't think it's quite true. Mr. Greening has contacted some of us
directly which is really bad form (but I'll assume it's simply his lack of
knowledge of how open source works). I've kindly told him to enter a JIRA
issue and contact the mailing list. He's not waited for even 1 day to get an
answer before concluding that the committers had no time to answer his
query.

I'm personally not enclined to help Dan and I haven't seen enough of his own
patches and commitment to be confident he can take on the leadership on the
Maven JBoss plugin and continue supporting it in the long term (it's easy to
submit a patch, it's harder to support others on the long run). I'm thus -1
to move it at this time, especially as it is used by several Maven users and
we would have no control over the quality of the modifications.

I'd suggest Mr. Greening to post an updated patch and attach it to the JIRA
issue.

Thanks
-Vincent
