Ok, I remember seeing this message now that you mention it... ;-) However
the message I got seemed to indicate there was a problem with permissions.
It doesn't seem that the directories are group writable (or I am not in the
group)?

I've just run g+w. I'll have to check into why the permissions might have been reset.

Please don't publish the main Maven site though - just do it for
plugins. My home directory is used because we don't have anywhere else
to put a staging site.

I would just like to upload the clover plugin web site.

That's fine - I'm just talking about the one in core/trunk/xdocs.

You cna set maven.site.deploy.live=true to push from your host directly to live as well if necessarily.

As far as rsync goes, you can set maven.site.deploy.method=ssh if you
don't have it installed.

Ok, it seems that the protocol to upload a site has changed as there is now
maven.site.deploy.method=rsync in plugin-parent/project.properties. Is that
the new preferred method?

In theory that should be the most efficient if files haven't changed. I'm not sure if this is actuallyt he case right now. I have no problem setting it back.

Cheers,
Brett
