Maybe we can work together to bring the m2 archetype facility into m1. An archetype is a project templates consisting of a set of velocity templates packaged up in a JAR. Each JAR is independent and deployed separately and the archetype mechanism uses maven-artifact to pull the archetype from a remote repository. So each project archetype is fully decoupled from all the others instead of having everything globbed together and allows people to deploy archetypes for anything: just another artifact in the repository. > Arnaud > > > > > Hi, > > > > Please vote on the following release plan, and I will then go > > ahead and execute it. > > > > 1.
