I believe this is already possible with the current setup of profiles
and the lifecycle, however it requires a lot more configuration from the
user.
One way to alleviate that configuration would be to have a packaging of
clover-jar that bound them all for the user and is more intuitive about
what you are going to get out of it - but I'm not sure if building
something different under a different profile is what we are aiming to
get out of profiles. That sounds like it would allow violation of the
one-artifact rule. It would be better to build it alongside the main one
from a completely parallel tree.
I've got this down for 2.1. We can keep thinking about it, but I'd like
to see it in practice first.
