nothing has changed in classworlds. I don't think the jline version has changed 
which could be the only thing I can think of affecting it.

I've never seen this problem on the .bat file version...

Are you using the same JDK across both?

Sorry, but we're not likely to be able to reproduce this. the ctrl-c issue in 
cygwin is a known issue to them, though. If you find out, please let us know!
