Trent Rosenbaum commented on MNG-1105:
--------------------------------------

I feel that the release.properties file should not be removed after the perform
method has been run. A message to explain this, (as suggested earlier) could
be the default behaviour of the maven-release plugin and maybe a configuration
element could be used to set it otherwise? This is a good file to keep around
in large companies because you may few people taking part in the release
process. This file allows others to quickly extract and deploy project
deliverables to new locations.
