knownhosts file isn't updated when .ssh dir is missing (while deploying to remote scp repo) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: MNG-1613 URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MNG-1613 Project: Maven 2 Type: Improvement Components: maven-deploy-plugin Versions: 2.0 Environment: windows xp Reporter: Michal Stochmialek While deploying an artifact to remote repo using scp, maven asks about authenticity of host for every artifact: The authenticity of host 'tesa3' can't be established. RSA key fingerprint is 71:50:80:89:dd:38:bf:19:4b:63:e9:2d:a6:25:41:a0. Are you sure you want to continue connecting? (yes/no): Then, I created .ssh directory in %USERPROFILE% dir. And after next confirmation of host's autheniticy, knownhosts file had been created. In result, problem dissappeared. I suspect that this is documented somewhere (or maybe not), but I think that automatical creation of this directory would be more user-friendly. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://jira.codehaus.org/secure/Administrators.jspa - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
