Eclipse Plugin 0.0.4 does not function correctly

Install a new installation of the JBoss IDE Eclipse Bundle from here
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/jboss/JBossIDE-1.5-Bundle-win32.zip?download
Install the plug-in version 0.0.4 via the web install.
Once the workspace is launched, any project with the maven2 building nature
will attempt to compile. The plug-in then is stuck in an infinite loop stating
it cannot connect to repo1.maven.org. I have Maven version 2.0.2 installed.
Both JDK 1.4 and 1.5 have this error. The only way to correct it is to
manually remove version 0.0.4 and install 0.0.3.
