No firm date yet but the design documents are here:

The queue (at the top of the same page) only has two items in it.
Realistically I don't see it happening for a few months. We still
need to talk a lot about the design honestly. But there will be a
2.0.5 release which will have embbedder fixes if that's what you're
looking for.
