Hi Brett, I don't seem to have access to delete atachments, is it possible
for me to get access, or for you to delete them and I'll re-attach them
later today?

You can delete the attachment on the jira and attach a fresh one if
you'd like. We don't have a time line on the release of the release
plugin, but its near the top of the list in terms of patches/bugs/
votes so it should be a priority soon.

As for your other problem with the plugin POM - I'm not aware of any
reasons why this would happen, but it sounds like a bug.
