Right.
If it is an option to have a quicker release by just fixing the
httpclient wagon provider, I can
have a go at fixing that (I prefer httpclient over the lightweight
one, since that one interferes
with some eclipse plugins).
Maven 1.x just uses httpclient, the new version of m1 uses wagon.
(I can do that in the sandbox if you want)
Thoughts ?
The next version uses the wagon stuff which by default doesn't use
httpclient.

The Ibiblio problems are going to kill our Maven 1.x users. I'll
shift
entirely over to helping with the release until it's out but
Arnaud/Lukas please get those requirements up please.
