A snapshot has been deployed to the Apache snapshot repo:

The one thing left to do is to decide which parent pom to use. Currently
maven-plugins-8-SNAPSHOT is used as a parent. Either we go back to
maven-plugins-7 or release maven-plugins-8. WDYT?
