Hi,
Just an update on what's happening with Surefire...
- 2.3 was released a little while back, which corrects a number of
issues with testng and other surefire problems
- however, it did identify some regressions and other issues, which
are scheduled for 2.3.1
- a branch has been created - surefire-2.3.x - for fixing and
releasing those issues
- trunk is 2.4-SNAPSHOT, and all future development is going there.
That release should mark a completely stable API, comprehensive
tests, and documentation. I've started working through surefire-api
- there is a branch in the sandbox called surefire-collaboration,
where some testng folks who are ASF committers will fix problems
with testng. It is based on r510870 of trunk
- everything applied to the branch will be merged to trunk as the
main development line
- I will refresh that branch if needed so it can keep up with
trunk, but only after any fixes on it have been merged
- some of the discussion continues on testng-dev. If you are
interested in the testng side of things, it might be helpful to be
subscribed there too, but I'll try to keep as much of the general
discussion on surefire here.
Any questions?
What about the plexus-utils problem, or do you want me to swizzle the
2.0.6 release to hide it?
