There is a serious regression in the maven-javadoc-plugin: MJAVADOC-116. It has been open for quite some time now, and has 21 votes. A test case is attached to the issue.
I believe many users are forced to still use the 2.0 version as long as this issue is open. The related MJAVADOC-111 has another 7 votes, and maybe even MJAVADOC-119 (8 votes), MJAVADOC-141 (6 votes) and MJAVADOC-137 (8 votes) are related. The issue seems to be rather complicated to track down for non-experts, so it would really be great if an experienced Maven developer could have a look. According to the number of votes, I think many users would appreciate if one of the core developers would tackle the problem... Thanks a lot!!
