I'm planning to push out a candidate for 2.0.8 very soon. I have a couple things I wanted to check out tonight and then it's out.

I think 2.0.8 can be pushed out now as Herve and Brian have done most of the things that they wanted to do and it's overdue so we should just release it. John, and I are fixing a few things in 2.1 but there is one IT that needs to be fixed and then I say we release that too. I have made the configuration of Plexus entirely programmatic, added active collections so I'll integrate that shortly and should generally help clean up the provider lookup nonsense we have in the core. In plain english this means any requirement of a component that is a collection will be automatically updated from the plexus side. So if a new Wagon shows up on the classpath the WagonManager will just get the new Wagon. The container doesn't have to be referenced directly. A vote for 2.0.8 can go up today or tomorrow, and I will put up a vote for maven-artifact 1.0-alpha-1 and then 2.1-alpha-1. By ApacheCon hopefully we'll have 3-4 alphas of 2.1 out.
