I had some trouble with the stage plugin and the release, but I think it's all fine now.
(First it died with java.lang.ClassCastException: org.apache.maven.wagon.providers.ssh.jsch.ScpWagon, and I switched from Maven 2.0.9 to 2.0.10-RC5 since it worked with that for the deploy plugin last week. Then it hung trying to rename files, and it turned out the permissions weren't correct on maven-metadata.xml in the o.a.m/plugins directory... it was prompting for an override, which I discovered when I executed the script on people.a.o.) I do see the .rip directory in central. Perhaps those should be excluded from syncing? http://repo1.maven.org/maven2/org/apache/maven/plugins/maven-war-plugin/ I'm waiting for the release and the website to sync, but it's late here so I'll check in the morning before sending out the announcement.
