I went through a bunch of the outstanding issues thursday (I think?) to
try to trim things down to a manageable issue-set for the next release.
I can add this one to that set, but I haven't gotten into fixing issues
yet. Right now, I'm primarily focused on releasing maven, but as soon as
that's done I'd like to get an assembly release out...I saw the survey
results. ;-)
I'm happy to take a look at this issue while I'm working on that
release, and if anyone's interested in helping with assembly plugin
development, I can be available on IRC, etc. to provide guidance.

I chatted with Petar about this earlier today (and asked for an
integration test, which he provided. :) ) I'll take a look at this
one unless someone beats me to it...
John, you seem to be the Assembly expert... are you planning to spend
time on it in the near future?
Does anyone have anything they definitely want fixed before the next
Assembly release?
