The nexus source is available for anyone to build with. He's trying to
make Maven 3 able to build Nexus, not the other way around, so there's
nothing here that anyone couldn't attempt if they were so inclined.

I'd rather we didn't have tasks in JIRA that most developers can't do  
anything about (and aren't descriptive of the actual problem - it  
makes for non-sensical release notes in the long run).

Is this a duplicate of MNG-3927?
