I believe that problem doesn't affect 2.1.0.
Also did this new 'mileston' will be used in m2eclipse. I know Maven 3.0 is the target for m2eclipse but during the intermin, having a stable and known 2.1 would be nice.
We're not planning to backport the embedder at this stage, but of course 2.1.0 will be available as an external installation should you want to use it that way.
