+1 While we're discussing the war plugin, if anyone is interested to work on it a bit more, it would be much appreciated: users have reported a lot of issues and some of them are quite old. One theme for 2.2 would be to finalize the caching system (with a fix for the XStream thing) but we still have very old request like MWAR-9 and MWAR-33.
