Guys, I don't know if it effects 3.0. It's a circular problem for me: you've told me that 3.0-beta-3 isn't good enough even to publish internal maven project sites, so I haven't been testing maven 3 on my day-job code. All I've been praying for is a 2.4 that's compatible with 2.2. But nothing really awful will happen if there isn't one.
How about the following: I stop complaining, and then I'll undertake to aggressively test post-3.0 snapshots on my work code if you'll try to make a post 3.0-release in the not too distant future that mops up MSITE-600 and anything else reasonable that turns up?
