For a few releases now, we've had parity on master and slave between the old metrics endpoints (/stats.json) and the new endpoint (/metrics/snapshot). As per MESOS-2058 <https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MESOS-2058>, the old endpoints will be deprecated in 0.23.
