My organization is likely to have requirements of the kind you mentioned, so if there is anything not already supported by MetaModel and not in JIRA issues, I would bring it up for discussion on the list. Btw, I have recently begun work on development of Solr connector (discussed in another post) but has taken a while due to travel and other commitments of the day job.
