Subject: [VOTE] Create subproject for REST API webapp based on MetaModel

Hi all,

I would like to call for a vote on us creating a subproject for the idea of
having a webapp based on MetaModel that offers a REST API to do data
federation, querying across data sources and metadata management.

The initial idea for this webapp was posted in this PR on GitHub:
https://github.com/apache/metamodel/pull/120

But as it was pointed out in the review remarks for this, the scope of the PR
is more like that of a separate (sub)project, not an addition to the MetaModel
library as we know it.

Please vote on creating this as a subproject to Apache MetaModel.

The vote is open for 72 hours.

[ ] +1 Create the subproject
[ ] -1 Do not create this subproject because ...

Thank you in advance for participating.

Oh, and if anyone has ideas for a name to the subproject, please throw your
suggestion in there with your vote. If the vote to create the subproject is
accepted, we can have another discussion / vote thread to decide on the final
name.

Best regards,
Kasper Sørensen
