    Since we're fixed on Java 8 after this, do you think it would make sense to 
get rid of all of the jvm parameters that cause these kinds of warnings during 
the Maven run:
    
    Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM warning: ignoring option 
MaxPermSize=256m; support was removed in 8.0
    Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM warning: ignoring option 
UseSplitVerifier; support was removed in 8.0
