I just wanted to mention to everybody that I'm planning to feature Metron at an InfoSec meetup that I run in Pittsburgh PA. Odds are it will be Q1 of 2017, meaning there will be a presentation on 1/12/17, and a hands on lab on 2/9/17. These events generally start around 7pm and go until 8:30 or 9 and are both free and open (details will be available here <http://www.meetup.com/Steel-City-InfoSec/> when they're posted).
While I'd be more than happy to give the presentation on my own, I know the members of the group like to get some diversity. This is a strongly vendor agnostic group, so sales pitches are prohibited and any slides must be reviewed by me prior to the event, but I'd be more than happy to co-present or allow someone else involved with Metron to lead the show. The intent is to generalize and discuss security-focused data analysis, and then to bring in some more concrete examples - primarily Metron. Feel free to hit me up off-list (or otherwise) if you're interested in discussing this further. Thanks, Jon -- Jon
