I use the BibTeX entry:

@misc{mina,
  title = {Apache MINA Project},
  url = {http://mina.apache.org},
  publisher = {The Apache Software Foundation},
  year = {2006},
  annote={The Apache MINA Project web site.}
}

It produces a reference that looks like:

"Apache mina project," 2006. [Online]. Available: http://mina.apache.org

I use this for all the papers I write that reference MINA. This seams
to be enough to keep my professors happy.

Looks good to me. I'd prefer 'ASF' to my name in this case. :)
