Hi folks, I've just finished implementation of AprSocketAcceptor and AprSocketConnector. My simple echo test shows that it performs as good as NioSocketAcceptor and NioSocketConnector. AprSocketAcceptor and AprSocketConnector implements SocketAcceptor and SocketConnector interface respectively, so you can switch from NIO to APR with one line replacement:
before: SocketAcceptor a = new NioSocketAcceptor(); after: SocketAcceptor a = new AprSocketAcceptor(); You might encounter segfault due to a bug of the current implementation because we are using tomcat-native bridge for APR 1.2. Any feed back is welcome! I will keep working on implementing datagram side too.
