The new installer worked properly, but unfortunately the uninstaller
didn't (used the same extracted folder as final destination)
To uninstall, delete the directory you installed it to and the
com.prototiger.link file in the eclipse\dropins directory. Uninstall
not coded yet.
Couple of things
1. Need to set windows->preferences-> ProtoTiger..... property to
point to installation dir before it works
Well look into that problem.
2. hyperlink error on home page
"http://www.tabbyinstall.com/prototiger/prototiger-pte/zip" should be
http://www.tabbyinstall.com/prototiger/prototiger-pte.zip
This is what happens when you rush putting web pages together, sorry.
It is fixed now.
This contains the example file you need to copy into your project.
3. had nothing in my .pte file and clicked generate source, the
progress bar is running :-( and after that it doesn't work
Bug, will fix it, just don't do that that :)
4. How do I create a new packet. The UI doesn't provide any action for
that. Am I missing something...
Right click on the project and select form the pop up menu
New->Other...->ProtoTiger->ProtoTiger file, was in the poorly written docs.
5. It didn't generated code for me :-(
Once you create a prototiger.pte file you double click it to bring up
the GUI interface.
Right clicking on the gray window area brings up a menu to create server
or client packet.
I think I shall have a look at it once it becomes a little stable.
ok
thanks
