As reported here http://markmail.org/message/fvg64fb2jcq4x3gh suspending the
server or a listener does not work correctly on Mac OS X and possibly other
platforms. As analyzed here http://markmail.org/message/w3fjwchxdca7krz5, this
is likely an issue in MINA/JVM.
