I think we should aim at supporting XML and XML NS as far as possible, especially when parsing. Of course, the stuff we emit should conform to the recommendations by the XMPP spec. This goes with the Robustness principle (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robustness_principle) > I remember now that this is not the nicest corner of Vysper.
