What I would suggest is that we create a new space, named MINA website, to
encapsulate all the projects, including the MINA project. It will be
revamped, of cours, and point to the other subprojects, through the
Navigation page. This WebSite space would only contain the navigation page,
, some legal disclaimer, and a News central page.
To make sure I understand, we would keep the MINA (or MINA2) space,
and those spaces for the subproject. But, rather than having the
navigation, legal and news in the MINA space, we would have it in the
new "MINA website" space? What would be the pros with this approach
over the current way?
The biggest advantage is that we will be to separate the MINA specific
data (doco, etc) fro the main site. As we now have 5 sub-projects, we
woild be able to keep the menu small, and not get something like activemq...
Would we then include the navigation in from the "MINA website" space
in the auto-export templates for the subprojects? Or, would the
subprojects have their own navigation pages (like currently)?
Each subproject will have their own space, and navigation. At some
point, it would allow a successful project to become a TLP without
having to redesign the whole site...
