May be we can have 2 projects :) Actually, the original idea of GSoC is the other way round: Students bring their own ideas to the projects. Obviously, it is advisable for the project itself to make as many proposals as would fit to attract many students. There is a ranking process and only the best ones get accepted. Bernd
