I'm done with the cleanup. Here is what I did :
- removed the parent module, moved all the dependencyManagement elements
down in the main pom
- renamed the main pom atifactid to mina-parent (was build, don't ask me
why...)
- created a distribution module to handle the assembly correctly
- added some missing dependency versions
- fixed the scm tags
I think there might be more to do, but for today, trunk is building again.
I will check later this evening if we can generate the jars using this
structure.
And, yes, you are right : the tool might not be perfect (Maven) but when
you start checking the accumulated layers, it's not easy to get the
whole stuff working. I think that having a release manager is a good
thing. We should also have a documented build, plus any modification to
the poms may need to be handled in a r-t-c mode.
PS : No, I won't be the RM ;)
