Jochen Seliger commented on SSHD-473: ------------------------------------- Hi Guillaume, as is seems that the failure is placed in the server passwordAutenthication, you sould use my SSH_SERVER.class in cojunction with my SSHDPasswordAuthenticator.class. Than you should find an existing user at the system, you are working on. When establishing a client.session either with my method or by your own code, you should use the existing user. At session.addPassWordIdentity you should one time the same string got as existing user name. In that case you should be authenticated, as you should be authenticated in any case, you set the same string to passwordIdentity password as set as user at client.connect(). That's allready enought!! As an alternative you may try to connect with the multiple users you were able to connect when using the same strin as user and as password, but now with different strings, even with the exieting usder with his correct password. In al these case you sould failed to be authenticatded. The main question for me are, why not al attampts in my case where rejected, as my SSHDPasswordAuthenticator is returning in any case false. The next question is till, if there is something implemented , to consult the user management of the OS at server side.
