Hi,

I'm trying to build the latest source.

Is there any strict requirement that forces SSHd to use maven 3.9.12?

FTR I've 3.9.9 installed locally.

I'm building SSHd with mvnw which deals with the MVN version issue, but it's not currently documented on the README.md file (and it should also be explained on the https://mina.apache.org/sshd-project/sources.html page, so that users can know how to build MINA, and which are the requirements to do so)

Still annoyed on Linux by the build that stops many times:

[2]+  Stopped                 ./mvnw clean install

I have to 'fg' the task to get it running... It's a bit strange, I don't have the issue on Mac OSX. It's also not due to a time limit like 30 mins, because it's stopping after something like 5 mins.

Anyway, I think I'll be able to get the release voted this morning ;-)

Thanks for the hard work btw, it's not exactly fun to have to cut a release 3 times in a week :/!

Hello,

I've staged a candidate release for Apache Mina SSHD 2.17.1.

Sorry that I have to bother you again. Due to a tooling bug that I
hadn't noticed the Maven release of 2.17.0 was broken: the root pom
was not published.

This is fixed with this patch release. For details of the problem,
see https://github.com/apache/mina-sshd/issues/875

Thanks to Gary for finding the root cause!
