while there is a little fast boot stuff in the kernel (it's in 2.6.29-rc... so
no need for
much extra patching)... most of the things you need to do to boot fast are not
related
to the kernel. The kernel only takes a very short time compared to all the rest
of the actions.
The source rpms for our entire distro is online together with the binaries...
