Hi Stephen,

Thanks for your feedback! It certainly works over here. But what is the reason
CTRL+ALT+BACKSPACE doesn't give any respond at all. It should kill the X
windows rather that your suggestion /sbin/init 3.

I tried to search on XFCE websites on know issue's, and get no answer!

Thanks!

Hi Joseph,

Have you tried /sbin/init 3

You'll need to be supervisor to execute the command.

To get back to XWindows do /sbin/init 5

BTW I don’t have MOBLIN image running here at moment - just a suggestion that
usually works in LINUX, Apologies if it doesn't work on your MOBLIN image!

Regards
Stephen

Subject: [Moblin Dev] Ctrl+Alt+Backspace returns nothing

Hi list,

How to killing the X windows and returns back to Text Modes? By right for any
Linux Distro's we are using CTRL+ALT+BACKSPACE. I am using moblin 2 OS with
Xserver 1.6.1 and 2.6.29-rc7 kernel. The X manager is XFCE 4.6.1!

Thanks!
Joseph
