Please make sure you have made right preparations as below

Preparation

To be able to use MIC2, the following packages must be available on your system
(Most of the packages are installed by default, depending on the distribution):

    * yum
    * rpm
    * kpartx
    * parted
    * syslinux
    * isomd5sum
    * kvm
    * zlib-devel(for compiling)
    * python-devel(for installation)

You should load these modules as well if not loaded automatically by the kernel:

    * squashfs
    * dm_snapshot
    * loop

Specific packages for Fedora

    * pykickstart
    * device-mapper

Subject: [Moblin Dev] mic2 creating livecd failed

Hi!

My system is fedora 10. I just built a mic2 by git source. But it couldn't
work normally.

# moblin-image-creator --config=netbook-dev.ks --format=livecd
--cache=mycache

..
Traceback (most recent call last):

  File "/usr/share/yum-cli/callback.py", line 196, in callback

UnicodeEncodeError: 'ascii' codec can't encode characters in position 3-6:
ordinal not in range(128)

error: python callback <bound method RPMInstallCallback.callback of
<callback.RPMInstallCallback instance at 0x9404a4c>> failed, aborting!

Thanks!
